LGBTQ Scholarships and Awards

The Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies offers an undergraduate program, a collaborative graduate program (M.A. and Ph.D.), hosts academic and community events, and promotes research into sexuality. It is a hub forging connections among faculty, undergraduates, graduate students, and community members interested in questions about how we understand sexual diversity and sexual practices. These scholarships and awards provide financial aid to students who identify as LGBTQ or are pursuing studies in Sexual Diversity.

LGBTQ Students Scholarship and Awards

Awards are distributed to undergraduate and/or graduate student(s) who identify as LGBTQ or are pursuing studies with a focus in sexual diversity at the University of Toronto.

LGBTOUT Scholarship

Established by LGBTOUT and awarded to a student based on student activism on campus and in the community. All undergraduate students at UofT are eligible for this award.

Sexual Diversity Studies Scholarship in University College

This award is given to a student registered in the Sexual Diversity Studies Program on the basis of financial need and merit.

The Jack Hallam UC '52 Undergraduate Scholarship

Established by Jack Hallam, priority for this award is given to students enrolled in the Sexual Diversity Studies Program, but awards may also be given to LGBTQ students enrolled in other U of T programs.
