Biomedical Communications

The Master of Science in Biomedical Communications is an interdisciplinary graduate program in the design and evaluation of visual media in medicine and science.

Wendy M. Kates Memorial Award

The Wendy M. Kates Memorial Award honours a past student who excelled in the MScBMC program. Wendy's award is given annually to an MScBMC student on the basis of academic achievement in research, and for financial need.

Eila Hopper Ross Memorial Award

The Eila Hopper Ross award honours a pioneer in Canadian medical illustration. The award is given annually to an MScBMC student on the basis of excellence in: visual communication; professionalism; team participation; leadership skills; and commitment to the profession.

Biomedical Communications Program Fund

Donations from students, faculty, alumni, their families and others contribute to the enhancement of the MScBMC Program by supporting special program needs, events, honouraria, and acknowledgments (beyond the MScBMC budget).

Biomedical Communications Alumni Association Fund

Alumni donations support the BMC Alumni Association (BMCAA) annual meeting, newsletter, and continuing education activities. Donations help sustain our professional communications and network, and elevate the profession of the biomedical communications specialist.
