Faculty of Forestry
The Faculty of Forestry at the University of Toronto was established in 1907. It is the oldest forestry faculty and the pioneer of scientific forest management in Canada.
Today's Faculty of Forestry is a highly competitive centre for Forest Studies. Our focus is on conserving and sustaining our forests for a full range of uses - from timber harvesting to recreation to wildlife management to the conservation of biodiversity. Our scope is not limited to Canadian forestry practices, but is evolving into a truly international approach.
