Faculty of Law
International Human Rights Program
Founded in 1987 by the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, the International Human Rights Program (IHRP) has demonstrated the impact a law-school based human rights program can have through the combination of incredible students, gifted staff and faculty, and committed alumni and partners. The IHRP harnesses the enthusiasm and expertise of law students to effectively enhance the legal protection of existing and emerging international human rights obligations.
The IHRP is a specialized co-curricular program that offers academic, volunteer, and field experiences to Faculty of Law students. The IHRP's reach is both broad and deep; the program is unique in Canada in terms of its scale, scope, and impact. The IHRP includes Canada's most extensive international human rights internship program, an award-winning legal clinic, the student-edited magazine Rights Review, and cutting-edge events.
By donating to the IHRP, you will build its long-term sustainability and lay the foundation for future expansion. Through your tax deductible donation, we will ensure that the IHRP's strong voice for justice, equality and human rights continues to be heard by our students, communities, and governments. Rest assured, 100% of your donation will go directly to supporting the IHRP.
Thank you in advance for your generous support.
