IT TAKES A UNIVERSITY.It takes a university to empower a new generation of thought leaders and visionaries to solve the toughest challenges and to offer the best and brightest students an education that will help them build a better world.
IT TAKES NEW WAYS OF PRACTISING.Master of Architecture student Bahia B. Marks became interested in how communities shape thought and action after living in South Africa, Israel and New York.
Her research focuses on participatory design. She believes that architecture can be a tool used in collaboration with community members to facilitate more effective and sustainable built environments.
