Ethiopic Studies at the University of Toronto

In 2017, the University of Toronto offered North America’s first undergraduate course in Ge'ez, generating much excitement, pride and interest. With your support, we will establish a permanent place for Ethiopic studies at U of T—one of the world's leading universities. Reaching our immediate goal of $500,000 will enable us to offer at least one Ge’ez language course each year. By meeting our longer term goal of $2,500,000, we will develop a suite of courses in Ethiopian history, culture and language. Join the Ethiopic studies family – and help us reach this important milestone.

Attention USA Donors: To receive an applicable charitable tax receipt, supporters in the United States can direct their giving to the Associates of the University of Toronto, Inc.
