Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering
In Memory of Danny Goldberg

A collage of photos of Danny Goldberg

Danny Goldberg, P.Eng., was a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering (Electrical Engineering, 0T8), and he worked as a telecommunications engineer at a power company after graduation. Danny was smart, kind, and funny. He loved music, and, above all, he was dedicated to his family and friends. Tragically, Danny passed away in 2017 at the age of 32 from a brain tumour. He is missed by all who knew him. Established in 2019 by Danny’s wife, Aliza, the Danny Goldberg Memorial Scholarship honours and celebrates Danny’s life.

In support of this special campaign, the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering will match all contributions dollar-for-dollar (up to $20,000) – doubling the impact of your support. We hope to raise enough to make the Danny Goldberg Memorial Scholarship an endowed fund, so that many future generations of engineers will be positively impacted by Danny’s legacy.
