It is fundamentally shifting how we approach science, medicine, engineering, the arts and even life itself. U of T's Department of Computer Science is recognized as a pioneer in the field, with innovative teaching and primary and applied research in many areas, including computer animation, social networks, medical diagnosis, biological discovery, climate change analysis and assistive technologies for children, the elderly and people with physical impairments. Computer Science Excellence Fund

This fund will provide more students with scholarships, expand learning opportunities, increase their research and development capacities and nurture their entrepreneurial potential.

Computer Science 50th Anniversary Graduate Scholarship

This scholarship, which was created to celebrate the Department of Computer Science's 50th anniversary, will be awarded to one or more outstanding international graduate students in the Computer Science PhD program. The scholarship will be awarded based on academic merit.

C.C. (Kelly) Gotlieb Graduate Fellowship

This award honours C.C. Gotlieb, the Father of Computing in Canada, by recognizing an outstanding graduate student studying any sub-discipline of Computer Science. The award will be based on the academic merit of the student's research and course work. Financial need may also be considered.

Technologies for Aging Gracefully (TAG) lab Trust Fund

Donations help fund R&D of technology that supports aging throughout the life course.

Beatrice "Trixie" Worsley Graduate Scholarship in Computer Science

This scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in the PhD program in the Department of Computer Science who have taken an active role in helping to promote women in the field of computer science. It will awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need, with preference given to international students.

MScAC (Applied Computing) Student Initiatives Fund

Donations help fund MScAC student scholarships, the Applied Research in Action (ARIA) showcase of MScAC R&D projects and other academic and co-curricular student activities of the Applied Computing program.
