Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy
The Munk One - Carey Projects Fund
The Carey Projects was established in memory of Carey Davis, a graduate of the Munk One Program, and undergraduate student leader. Carey was fueled by a relentless commitment to research to better understand the complex causes of environmental, social and political problems most often on a global scale. Her dedication to research was always matched by a commitment to action. She would develop thought experiments to identify potential ways to impact some of the most vexing issues of our time. Carey was a connector, she created supportive intellectual communities among her many undergraduate peers, graduate mentors and faculty supervisors. These funds will be used to provide Munk One students opportunities to conduct field research, and develop projects to address some of the sustainable development goals most important to Carey – environmental sustainability, ending poverty, protecting global health, promoting peace and security, and quality education for all.
