Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy

The Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy is at the forefront of innovative, interdisciplinary research, teaching and public education on global affairs and public policy. It plays host to three dozen premier centres, institutes and programs representing a range of geographical regions, issues and collaborations between the university and the public, private and nonprofit sectors. In this lively forum of informed dialogue, debate and action, people continually break new ground with ideas that challenge how we understand the world and that are fundamentally reshaping how we engage with one another. Your donation will foster this vibrant academic environment, and help equip a responsible citizenry with the knowledge, skills, strategic agility and cultural fluency that are essential in the 21st century.

Munk School Vision Fund

Donations to the Vision Fund will be directed to the current area of greatest need.

Munk One – The Carey Projects

The Carey Projects was established in memory of Carey Davis, a graduate of the Munk One Program, and undergraduate student leader. Carey was fueled by a relentless commitment to research to better understand the complex causes of environmental, social and political problems most often on a global scale. Her dedication to research was always matched by a commitment to action. She would develop thought experiments to identify potential ways to impact some of the most vexing issues of our time. Carey was a connector, she created supportive intellectual communities among her many undergraduate peers, graduate mentors and faculty supervisors. These funds will be used to provide Munk One students opportunities to conduct field research, and develop projects to address some of the sustainable development goals most important to Carey which include environmental sustainability, ending poverty, protecting global health, promoting peace and security, and quality education for all.

MGA Alumni Award
